I used to work as a freelance photog...Thank you :) <br />I used to work as a freelance photographer for newspappers and magasines for 5 years so I've got some practice behind me belt. <br /><br />As of late Im lazy to take my EOS out of its bag and shoot often with 3G iPhone but this kind of photography is impossible without a good equipment. <br /><br />I used a 55 mm lens very close, sharpened on the entrance of the hive and moved the camera away from it hoping to get sharp shots of incomming bees. <br /><br />The bees in this hive fly at any rate from 4-10 bees a second! Shutter speed 1000. I simply kept pressing the button taking at least 50 photos to be able to get 2 good ones :) thats the trick. <br /><br />Then I used pixlr.com to crop the shots and adjust levels and saturation.
